Custom Automation Solutions

ADS designs high-quality custom automated assembly machines and testing equipment. Our team of expert engineers will work alongside you to collect all the necessary information before beginning your project and the conception phase. Our team is agile and adaptable, allowing us to evaluate your project from every perspective throughout its entirety.

Our Designs

Before the designing process begins, our team of talented engineers will take the time to work with you to develop your project. You will be asked detailed questions about the boundaries you have for your machine, such as the following core requirements.

ADS engineers use the CAD software called Solidworks to create your design. From there, we generate a 3D model of your machine. Once the machine design is approved, we produce what is called the “complete drawing package.” This roadmap of your design includes the assembly drawing, the BOM (bill of materials), and a 2D drawing of all manufacturing details.

Core Requirements:

  • Cycle Time
  • Product weight and size
  • Machine Footprint requirements
  • Changeover time requirements
  • Product mix
  • Lot sizes
  • Quality requirements
  • Force
  • Operator ergonomic specs
  • Others as needed

Our Machines

ADS is dedicated to customer success and therefore stands behind the machines it designs. Once a client builds a machine and runs it, we will work with them to get it to where they want it. We’re happy to provide support for the duration of the project. Customer satisfaction is important to us and we’re proud to say that the machines we design are high quality, delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.

Our machine designs offer:

  • High uptimes
  • Speedy changeover
  • Easy maintenance
  • Correct ergonomics
  • Functionality
  • Sustainability
  • Integration with mating systems and components
  • Required specifications for either new or existing equipment

We Have Experience Designing:

  • Synchronous machines
  • Asynchronous machines
  • Continuous assembly machines
  • Robotic assembly machines
  • Robotic end of arm tooling (EOAT)
  • Custom tooled stands and stations
  • Test systems
  • Material handling systems
  • Flexible assembly systems
